Services & Prices

Scanning

Our scans are captured with the Betterlight 8K large format or the Phase One P65 medium format digital backs coupled with Northgate HID lighting or the Creo Eversmart Pro flatbed high resolution scanner.  We custom color profile every capture resulting in incredibly sharp, crystal clear, color accurate scans with native resolution sizes exceeding 1 gigabyte possible. This means that we can print full 60" wide prints directly from our highest resolution scans with no need for enlarging!

Prints

We print on a variety of archival only substrates, including fine art paper, canvas and a wide variety of fabrics on our 44" HP Z3100 and 64" Epson 11880 printers. We can also custom profile and print on custom papers as required - call for pricing. 6x9" proofs on stocked papers and canvases are $15. each and prints are priced by the square inch. Sample first print prices follow. Call for additional pricing and for discounts for multiple prints of the same image.

Photography

Joe McDonald, Digital Grange partner and head photographer for the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, has specialized in photographing artwork for over 30 years and has experience capturing every type of artwork imaginable from suits of armor to furniture to paintings to netsuke.

Custom Websites

A selection of custom website templates, specifically tailored by colleague Campana Design to showcase artwork, enable artists to have a professionally designed presence on the internet at a reasonable price. Each template can be easily updated and linked to the Grange website to facilitate effective search-engine placement.

Framing

Digital Grange offers the services of two colleagues who specialize in art presentation: John Annesley and Hamish Hafter. John Annesley is the master of stretching and mounting canvas and other fabrics. His stretcher bars, panels, support systems and floater frames are custom made and the best available. Hamish Hafter offers the highest quality custom matting and framing at highly competitive prices. Both John and Hamish are available for consultations on custom jobs for artwork with special requirements.

Workshops

Digital Grange workshops provide hands-on experience ranging from digital photography and lighting to color correction to multi-media classes such as alternative digital techniques and inkjet printing. Contact us for schedule. 

Art Handling and Installation

Let the Grange pick up and deliver oversize artwork. We offer safe transportation and handling of artwork whether it’s coming to the Grange to be photographed or going to a gallery for exhibition. Installation services to arrange artwork for best effect are also available.
